REGISTRATION NUMBERS: This was the biggest International Pathfinder Camporee so far! The figures below do not include the volunteers registered after the deadline and the additional camp staff.
CHRISTIAN STORY TELLING: "Our daughter has really grown in her prayer life and in her mature appreciation for her church that has to take in the larger picture of how very diverse church members look at Christian drama. Thanks again for all you have done. Our club is already saving money for 2014!" YOUNG MAN INSPIRED AT CAMPOREE: "One of my 15 year old Pathfinders, a casual church attendee, was in tears at the finale of the Esther play. He asked to have Bible studies start as soon as he got home. His mom (a committed church member) almost couldn't speak when she told me how important it was to her that we persevered and took the kids to Oshkosh. She had been praying for something like this to happen to her son for years. Now he wants to be a TLT so he can be a club leader and take the club back in 2014." MANY THANKS: The Courage to Stand Camporee was a great success! We thank God for his protection and guidance and to all our volunteers, club directors and leaders, pastors, conference and division leadership and other CYE staff that made this great event possible. THANK YOU: CYE would like to thank Roger Hatch and all the dedicated Maranatha International staff that help building the stage, assembly area and other projects. We could not have done without you. We hope to see you in 5 years! From: CTS leadership JAPHET DE OLIVEIRA: Japhet, director for the Center for Youth Evangelism and assistant director of the Courage to Stand Camporee, was recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer and underwent surgery August 25.
